Fashioning our Future with Salisbury Museum

Brand | 2nd April 2026

We’re proud to be continuing our collaboration with Salisbury Museum, this year seeing the launch of Fashioning our Future.

Fashioning our Future creates a space for young people to share their own perspectives and work together to co-curate fashion shows and exhibitions which will go on display at The Salisbury Museum, Blandford Fashion Museum and Southampton City Art Gallery. We’ve been enjoying working with the Museum team alongside talented local students to create a brand for Fashioning our Future and help create assets for their exhibitions.

Following a presentation we gave to students from South Wilts Grammar School as part of their 2025 Enterprise Day, focused on the kind of things we consider when designing a brand, we encouraged the students to put together some logo concepts which they presented to Salisbury Museum. Once a favourite was chosen, we refined that concept into a workable version whilst keeping the student’s vision at the forefront.

So far in the series of planned events, we have helped to roll this out with some exhibition panels for a show at Blandford Fashion Museum called Youthquake: 1960s. In the lead up, we ran a workshop on accessibility in design and created the panels with some of the illustrations created by the students.

Running until 2027, Fashioning our Future follows on from Fashioning our World, a 2024 exhibition looking at sustainability in fashion for which we were also involved in creating the brand and exhibition assets which followed on from engaging with students during a series of workshops.

It’s been fantastic to be part of these projects, to collaborate and listen to the ideas of the young people who are shaping the future.
